Happy New Year!

The Stillwater Greens Home Owners Association Board is pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 Holiday Lighting Contest as follows:

  • Lot #41 – Smedsrud
  • Lot #37 – Chapman
  • Lot #26 – Kwiatkowski
  • Lot #30 – Stempniak

Each family received a $50 gift certificate to one of the following merchants: Amazon, Olive Garden, Red Robin, and Home Depot.

Thank you to all members who lit up our community this past holiday season, you all did great (there were numerous homes in the running this year)! We are planning to expand the gift card recipient list next year, so buy your holiday lights early (they may be on sale now) and plan to light up your house/lot worthy to inspire! The contest will run from Thanksgiving to New Years 2019.

Earlier today the 2018 assessments were sent out. As you may know, the 2018 assessment is $215 due on February 28, 2018. The statements were sent out with Net 30 (due Feb. 5, 2018), but the actual due date is February 28, 2018. The 1% penalty begins 15 days after the due date; thus, please get your payments in on time and avoid any potential late fees. As a reminder, payments can be sent to:

Stillwater Greens HOA
13036 SE Kent-Kangley Rd. #275
Kent, WA 98030

If you did not receive a statement (or would like a hard-copy sent), or any of your contact information has changed (phone, email, etc.), please respond to this email and let us know the details.

We look forward to serving you in 2018 and appreciate all your support.

Wishing you a happy and prosperous new year!

Kind regards,
Rick Wenger, President
Neal Schroeder, Vice President
Stacy Stroud, Secretary
Daniel Olson, Treasurer

Exit Memo

December 31, 2016

Dear Stillwater Greens Homeowner,

The subsequent annual meeting held on December 20, 2016 at the Covington Library was for the purpose of electing board members for the next year. There was a large number of homeowners present as well as those who voted by proxy. The Board of Directors for 2017 are: Dan Olson, Neal Schroeder, Sheila Field Smith, Stacy Stroud and Rick Wenger. The new board will establish a forwarding address, bank accounts and annual dues for the association within the next few weeks because Windermere Property Management South elected not to renew their management contract with Stillwater Greens for 2017. Contact information for the new board members will be forthcoming. Until then, it is recommended to view this website (www.stillwatergreens.com) for other neighborhood news.

It is the custom to give away 3 door prizes for those who attend the meetings and send in their proxies. The winners were Patricia Stambaugh, Stacy Stroud and Nazario Felix who each received a $25 gift card. In addition, the Holiday Lighting Contest winners are: 1st place: Matt Stempniak; 2nd place: Paul Kwiatkowski; 3rd place: Roger Smedsrud. Congratulations to all!

Thank you for the opportunity to serve and Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Delaina Bochsler, Ron Logan, Dan Olson, and Sheila Field Smith

Save the Date

The 2016 Stillwater Greens Home Owners Association board elections will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 commencing at 7:00pm at the Covington Library. Approximately 20 home owners are needed to reach the necessary quorum (for an official full-term election). We look forward to seeing you there. Happy Holidays!

2016 Annual Barbecue

Our annual SG neighborhood BBQ is Saturday, September 10th, 4-6 p.m. in the center cul-de-sac.

The bounce house will be here again this year as well as a Kent Police car and a fire truck. There will also be games!

In addition, Mayor Suzette Cooke and other Council members will be here to visit and answer questions (click the flyer below for additional details).

It promises to be a fun summer event you won’t want to miss!

Please remember to bring a side dish or dessert to share and your own chairs.

If you have questions or would like to help, contact Delaina or any board member.

See you there!

Circulating Correspondence

The recent items of correspondence that are circulating our community are not endorsed by the Board of Directors. The Board will continue to maintain full transparency in the business operations of the Association and encourage homeowners that have concerns or questions, to attend the “Homeowners Forum” portion of every Board meeting. The Board currently meets monthly; interested owners should contact our manager, Chantelle Mitchell (Windermere), if they wish to attend, so they can be added to the agenda and kept informed of the meeting date, time and location.
